2. Overview

Rechnung Direkt is an invoicing application for Mac, iPad and iPhone. Protecting your personal data is very important to us. This privacy policy informs you about what data is collected and how it is used.

3. Data Processing in the App

3.1 Local Data Storage

All data you enter in Rechnung Direkt (invoices, quotes, customer data, items, etc.) is stored exclusively on your device in a local Core Data database. We do not have access to this data.

3.2 iCloud Synchronization

If you have iCloud enabled on your device, Rechnung Direkt uses Apple CloudKit to sync your data between your own devices. The data is stored in your private iCloud container. Only you have access to this data. Neither we nor Apple can view your app data stored in iCloud. For more information, please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.

3.3 No Collection of Personal Data by Us

Rechnung Direkt does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers. We do not operate any servers for data processing. The app works entirely offline or through Apple's iCloud infrastructure.

4. No Tracking or Analytics

Rechnung Direkt does not use any tracking tools, analytics SDKs, or third-party advertising services. No usage data, device IDs, or location data is transmitted to us or any third parties.

5. No Advertising

The app does not contain any advertising and does not share data with advertising networks.

6. App Store Purchase

Rechnung Direkt is purchased through the Apple App Store. Payment processing is handled exclusively by Apple. We do not receive any payment data or personal account information from Apple. Apple's Privacy Policy applies.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

Since we do not collect or store personal data, we generally do not hold any data about you. However, should you have any questions, you are entitled to the following rights:

  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

8. Data Deletion

You can completely delete your data at any time by removing the app from your device. To also delete data stored in iCloud, go to Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage and remove the Rechnung Direkt data.

9. Website

Our website rechnungdirekt.com is served as a static site. No cookies are set and no personal data is collected. No analytics or tracking services are used.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy as needed to reflect changes in legal requirements or changes to the app. The current version is always available on this page.
